I imagine this chair would work great for some people but i would not recommend this chair you are on the shorter end and struggle with shoulder and back pain. Im 5’4, sitting on the chair backwards or using the tray was very uncomfortable. Having the backrest at its lowest settings is best for my shoulders but forces my legs into a very uncomfortable wide stance. To sit more comfortably forces me to raise the back of the seat up, which then hurts my shoulders since they are raised too high up. The back of the chair and the seat are awkwardly wide and dont allow me to sit in multiple positions comfortably. The laptop tray is also finicky and feels flimsy, so i would not personally put any electronics on it. Adjusting parts is not as easy as i would like it, but the arm rests once were stable in most positions. the backrest was pretty wobbly and this did not improve even when adjusting/tightening the bolts. It is decently constructed overall, just didnt fit my proportions!
Really easy to assemble, my cat loves being my copilot for all work from home activities. I honestly think it is much more comfortable than the Steelcase chair I had before. No regrets at all!
The chair did not arrive looking as it did in photos. Instead of having cushions with fabric dyed to the color chosen, they each had ill-fitting cushion covers that looked terrible. There is no mention or photo of cushion covers on site. Additionally, the chair is very uncomfortable. Don’t waste your money.
I bought it when it was in Kickstarter A genuinely good chair, but don't buy it for the backrest desk, that thing is thin, flimsy, and can have a hard time locking in place even when it seems to hold weight for a few seconds. Once it's properly locked in it still will sag under heavy weight because it's so thin It spins so smooth and silent, the adjustability cannot be overstated, and it is the perfect chair for ADHD folk who cannot sit normal. I also wouldn't super recommend the orange. It's gorgeous, but stains. Unless you have an upholstery cleaner tool, keeping it near a window is enough to give it a gross dust color mixed in, at least in my city. 4.5 out of 5, with no regrets. I've had it for 8 months and can't imagine going back to a regular chair at this point

When I want to let down an armrest, it doesn't start to click until it's almost all the way down. Then it clicks on the way back up, so I can set it where I want it. The cat I bought the chair for has decided she likes to sit on top of the arm when it's vertical, as well as when it's horizontal. Fortunately she's a smallish cat, so it works out.
The chair is very comfortable and meets my needs. It was easy to assemble and feels very sturdy. I am still working on coaxing my cats to sit beside me. They still prefer to jump onto my desk into my wet paint while I’m painting. 🙄 I think I need to put some catnip on a little blanket on the sides. We will figure it out.

My partner and I LOVE it. TLDR: High-quality, stable, comfortable product that works well and looks just like the pictures, vibrant orange and all. Sometimes the armrests are a little tricky to close before they release, but I love the flexibility. I sit cross-legged most of the time, and it works great for that, but I've tried more configurations than I expected because of the range of motion for the arms. Newtral clearly loves pets – I was shocked the arm actually held my 65 lb cuddle-monster dog though she didn't stick around long. My partner and I are both below the listed weight capacity but in the upper range and were concerned about comfort and stability. We both feel secure and comfortable thanks to the width and depth of the seat, the height of the cushions (which have held their shape after ~1 month working from home part time) AND with the materials. Partner especially enjoys the roller skate style wheels. I find they don't roll as easily on hardwood floors – sitting cross-legged, if I grab the desk to move closer, sometimes the desk moves instead of the chair – but still good overall. It was definitely easier putting it together with two people, but could be managed with just one. It arrives with removable (washable) covers that individually fit each cushion, which I didn't realize. It also shipped and arrived surprisingly fast. We've recommended it to at least 3 people; we're both big fans!

This chair is not only sharply styled but great quality, very sturdy, rolls easily and smoothly. The fabric is beautiful and soft. My dogs (and I) love the fold out arms so they can be close while I am working. A++
Love it but it arrived with what seemed to be rust stain on the metal back, it cleaned off for the most part with a sponge. Only other thing that would be helpful would be locking wheels as it is difficult to use the laptop side without the chair slipping away when mounting it for short legs!

I LOVE this chair. Originally I had been using the Magic H-BPRO for quite some time, but I am very much someone who likes sitting with my leg up or both crossed! I waited for this to be out of kickstarted but oh man do I wish I got it sooner. It's really nice, comfortable, doesn't make noise so far, my cat definitely loves that I can move an arm down for her to lay on. I haven't sat "backwards" in it for long but it's also very comfortable. The seat itself is a good firmness but soft, I don't have any more lower back discomfort and I sit here A LOT.
Required a bit more assembly than other office chairs, but instructions were clear and it went together fairly quickly. Comfortable so far. Training the dog to use the armrest as a seat will take some training!
Love the whole design of the freedom-x and the huge amount of versatility. The orange fabric looks and feels great, the build quality is excellent, and the lumbar support and armrests provide for all day comfort when used at a desk for work, or when reclined with feet up when relaxing.

I love this chair so much! My cat also loves sitting at my side all day in a spot dedicated to him. This is the perfect chair for pet lovers, or anyone that likes shifting positions at their desk throughout the day.
Very comfortable and it is well built! Everything works as advertised. Only complaints are that the laptop stand feels very flimsy and I personally would not trust it with heavy laptops. Also, I'm short so I wish the chair could go down a little more.
