What is the difference between the Medium and the Large?
The main differences are size and fit.
The Large is designed for taller and broader users (5'8"–6'4", up to 350 lbs), while the
Medium fits users between 5'0" and 5'8" (up to 330 lbs).
All materials, components, and color options remain the same across both sizes.
Which size is right for me?
The Standing Mate comes in two sizes.
The Medium fits users between 5'0" and 5'8" (152–173 cm) with a weight capacity of 330 lbs.
The Large fits users between 5'8" and 6'4" (173–193 cm) with a weight capacity of 350 lbs.
If you're exactly 5'8", the Large is the better fit for broader builds, while the Medium suits those on the lighter or slimmer side.
Can I get a taller gas lift for more lift height?
This ergonomic stand up desk chair currently is standard with a 120Y7 gas lift with a 115mm stroke. If you need more height, you can try searching Amazon for a 150Y7 gas lift or higher — it provides a 145mm stroke.
Is this sit stand desk chair available in other colors?
Only dark grey for now.
The back support frame won't stay locked — is this a defect?
Not likely. This adjustable standing chair uses a step-by-step ratchet backrest adjustment mechanism. Please try this:
- Reset: Push the backrest all the way down.
- Lift gradually: Pull up one click at a time — you'll hear a 'click' at each locked position.
- Don't skip to the top: Pulling directly to max height auto-resets the lock, causing it to slide back down.
Try lifting to the middle position first to test. Still not working? Contact our after-sales team for an adjustment video, and we'll send a replacement backrest bracket right away.
Can this sit stand office chair be fitted with armrests,heightening wheel or a footrest?
The Standing Mate is specifically designed without armrests or a footrest to allow unrestricted movement and smooth transitions between sitting, perching, and standing.
Adding these accessories is not recommended, as they may interfere with the intended ergonomic experience.
